Jocelyn, we have to get the girls together…Shaoey and Ami are JUST alike. Everytime I read your blog, I see Shaoey. Like those “cute” hairstyles they do with ponytails and headbands at the same time and maybe a bow or two! And Shaoey is all about being a princess! She curtsies and goes overboard on her manners to sound like a princess–LOL! She is constantly in pose mode and will often ask me to get the camera out to capture her latest poses. Love it!

Awww. Sorry about your new pet. Hope all is well with the other two. We are animal lovers here, too. Our dogs are part of our family. You should have seen us when our two guieana (spelling??) pigs passed away. We even had funerals for them!

I think the neighbors wondered if they should call the police for one of the funerals because we were out digging Oreo’s grave in our garden and singing, crying, and saying prayers for her at about midnight! I think they wondered just what we were burying!

So sweet what Elijah is saying back to you. The love of God is everything!

It is great that you are keeping them in touch with their Chinese culture! I told Kevin at China Night that I could see Ami dancing up there some day like those other little girls did that night. It was so cute. I have attended that event a number of times in the past and just love it. I enjoy learning about other cultures and it is so well done. I use to hear about it when I was working with Internationals at the BSU. Now we hear about it from a Chinese co-worker.
