I really think it has rained solid every day of October. I may be exaggerating, but not by much. It has been constantly muddy and wet. Soccer has had so many cancellations and when the kids have played it’s been cold and muddy and sometimes drizzly. The kids have not been able to play outside much. And worst of all is that the beautiful leaves at their peak were quickly blown away. Boo hoo! Even though it’s a bit depressing, it’s still beautiful to look out our windows at the woods that surround us. I am constantly thanking God for this beautiful property!

On a brighter note, I just got back from a wonderful weekend away. Chris allowed me the pleasure of three full days of fun, food, fellowship, and oh, some scrapbooking, too. I got lots of pages done and enjoyed my new venture into digital scrapbooking. I love getting together with this group of ladies at a little church camp tucked away in the middle of nowhere. I am determined to laugh more because I came away from the weekend with sore stomach muscles from laughing so much. This should not be! No one should ever have sore muscles because they haven’t laughed enough. Hopefully I’ll get some pictures from one of my buddies to share later.
I am SO with you on the rain thing. Just so tired of it. I told Scott today that my thoughts of wanting to live in Seattle someday are gone. I just can’t do it. And getting little kids in and out of cars- UGH! Bring on the sunshine! I don’t even care if it’s cold- just give us some sun!
