After about 13 hours we arrived safely in Texas. With ten kids and four vehicles caravaning together our pit stops took a bit longer than usual. The kids and adults swapped seats at about every stop and it was fun to chat and hang out with the others. It sure made the time go by much more quickly.
Our driver with his vehicle and the trailer full of shoes left an hour ahead of us because he thought he’d have to go slower, but he ended up arriving about two hours ahead of the rest of us! About three hours into his drive a semi-truck jack-knifed right in front him and he had to swerve onto the shoulder barely missing being side-swiped. He was able to call the accident into the highway patrol. We are so thankful for God’s protection over John and his expertise of many years of driving. We pray that the driver of the semi truck is unharmed.

glad you made it!! Have a GREAT few days! Thanks for the updates!
Woohoo!
