We’re headed out tomorrow morning for a weeklong vacation. Our main reason for going is that there is an awesome church in Ohio that is a big supporter of PHF, Elijah’s orphanage. They also covered Elijah’s heart surgery two years ago. They are hosting a reunion for PHF families this weekend. On Saturday, the main day of the reunion, it will have been exactly two years to the day that Elijah had his heart surgery. Isn’t that a neat God wink?! On Sunday we have been asked to share our testimony with the congregation. We are thankful for the opportunity to express our gratitude in person for the way they took care of Elijah in such a major way. Later I’ll try to post the short bit we will share with them.
After the weekend, we are headed on up to Niagara Falls, then back home through Ontario, Canada. We will be doing our customary road trip, tent and all. This time it will be just a bit more crowded with one extra passenger and one more set of belongings, but we couldn’t be more pleased!
Stay tuned for posts and pictures along the way.
P.S. Please be in prayer for our family of travelers. My parents fly in from Japan tomorrow, and Chris’ parents fly in from Russia on Saturday.
