We received a CD in the mail with nearly 400 photos of Elijah from his 1.5 years at PHF.  Wow, what a gift.  Thank you SO much Leah for this treasure.  We had seen many of them, but there were also several new ones.  Elijah loved looking through them and wanted to tell stories with each one.  He has such good memories of his time at PHF and it was indeed a safe haven for him.    You can see such a huge transformation from the first pictures to the last.  I’ll post just a couple here.

Another neat thing I wanted to blog about is that Elijah started praying last week!  Each evening after our family devotions the kids take turns praying and once in a while we would ask Elijah if he wanted to pray, but he always said no.  Last Thursday when it was prayer time he excitedly announced that he wanted to pray, too and now he ALWAYS wants to pray.  Can you say, WOW, thank you Jesus!!  I look at the above pictures of him just two years ago and am amazed by this transformation.  Not only has his physical heart been healed, but his spiritual and emotional heart has begun to heal and most important of all he has been hearing about THE ONE that can heal all and now he is TALKING to the ONE that can heal all.  WOW!!  To steal a phrase from a bloggy friend of mine, this is one of those “Miracle-Working, Mountain-Moving, Awe-Inspiring, Gasp-Giving God” things.  Amen?
