Merry Christmas!

This has been a wonderfully exhausting day.  We finally received confirmation of our Consulate Appointment in China so that we could purchase our tickets and make further arrangements.  Our tickets have now been issued and we leave in two days!  I was jittery all day like I was on a caffeine high, but it was just excitement and busyness of getting everything taken care of so that we can leave on such short notice.  We got a lot accomplished today, but there is still a bunch to do and we head out of here Friday afternoon and then fly out super early Saturday morning.

We attended the Christmas Eve service at church and then opened about half of our presents tonight.  We are half Wolfe and half Clark, so we have to split the traditions.  :)   Tomorrow morning will be filled with more excitement.  We are so blessed with the four kiddos that we already have at home.  They each gave some very thoughtful gifts to Daddy, Mommy and to each other.  We can’t wait to spill that love on over to Elijah!  If I knew how to photoshop I’d paste Elijah into this family picture, but we’ll get a good family shot soon enough.

Merry Christmas to all our dear friends and family, near and far.  We celebrate the birth of our Savior, the one whose life made it possible for us all to be adopted into His family.  Now that is a gift!!
