We know… Finally!
Monday, June 4th, 2007Okay, we’ve been “bad” adoption parents!
We spent a lot of effort before Ami’s adoption updating her website. Well, I should say, *Jocelyn* spent a lot of effort there! With pictures and journaling, etc., it was all part of our excitement in preparing and planning to have Ami finally with us (I got to fill in mostly as the technical support). Then, the whole web-ification of our trip to China and getting Ami and bringing her home… We were glad to hear from many of you who told us about following our journey then, and have still been looking for updates!
And so, we apologize in a way for dropping the ball in our updating of Ami’s website. Like before the adoption, I was leaving this mostly up to Jocelyn, figuring she would still want to update occasionally with pictures and videos. But there is so much in our lives now that has kept that from happening… we hope you can understand! For my part of the equation, I have been out to find a replacement for amiwolfe.com, which has been hosted on BabyJellyBeans.com. It’s a great service and we highly recommend it. But now we want something simpler, and also cheaper. So here we are!
This is our new family website and AmiWolfe.com will now be pointing here, but if you use her domain name, it will only show posts that are about Ami. We hope, –hope– to keep up with more pictures, videos, and other stuff here in these pages. Below and in the next post is a collection of photos from February to May of 2007. Ami has changed a LOT in these past few months, as you can imagine.
In the picture gallery below, you can either click on a thumbnail to view the larger picture (it appears below the thumbnails), or use the green previous and next arrow buttons to move through the picture set… I think it’s better using the buttons. Also, as much as I like the alternative browser Firefox, this page views better in Internet Explorer.
